part of ANY leadership training is learning to know what you don't know, but to then to do something about it.  Of course, everyone needs to recognize their weaknesses and then strengthen those areas, but if you don't even have the ability to identify those weaknesses you're doomed.


C'mon dude, Ive already said it in plain english so don't try to spin it: anyone can be a manager.  It's the training that will make the difference.  If your company provides little or no training, then it'll be any (or lack of) former training that'll carry the day.  Any and all former military pilots have SOME leadership training, and a lot of former military mechanics (as long as they made E-5, cuz that's when they start leadership training courses) will have the same.  At least it's better than the ZERO most companies provide.
