The Delta Techops, United Techops, and the like will snap you up and pay you very well IN A HEARTBEAT with your experience.
I used to fly EMS and got an office job at a smaller component mx company that serves the airlines and get paid better than I was as a pilot (and don't have to deal with night shift or nurse drama).
From what I've seen we hire young kids here, straight out of tech school at around $20/hr and they jump to the big tech ops up the road at $50/hr in 3-5 yrs. They don't even have an A&P. MAYBE they have a Repairman certificate.
No telling what a guy like you would get but if you're willing to move to one of the bigger cities where the airline mx is done (or engine shops, etc.) you could probably do very well.
