I'll take 5% high any day, you don't have to do any inspection until 120 ish. Plus you'll have some energy in store for a pull, yes your Rate of decent will be a higher but in a low disc loaded system it won't be overly fast.
10 low and you're around 80%, if you have forward speed the blades in 2 blader will be starting to teeter back awfully close to your max angles, plus loss of rigidity in the blade from lack of rpm is a very unhappy flight regime.
A 407 sure, pull collective to 80% and extend the glide if need be, a teeter toter, proceed with caution. |
