It depends on your base and your program. I would check with your lead and see what is expected of you. At my program the Hospital has made it clear that we can turn it down if we can not complete the entire flight, to include the return leg in an appropreate amount of time. They feel the out of service time associated with timing out somewhere not at base is not good. Other programs I've worked for say if you can get the patient to the receiving in time, then take it. It really depends.
