What I see in this is a person who spends a few years to "get there" gets a bigger payoff for less actual skill than the years to "get there" in HAA.

I know every time I tell people what I made in HAA (even with overtime) 3 years ago they're always shocked.

Glad I left helicopter aviation altogether.
