Long VFR ferry flight legs

I have done many ferry flights. In the summer I've found it challenging to stay hyrdrated enough to stay awake and alert on the 12-14 hour days because if I drink too much I'll go to the bathroom every hour.
Basically I take an empty gatorade bottle (wide mouth...you love it). Does anyone else do this? Disclaimer...i only do this with aircraft that have force trim.
