Sadly, I'm in an organization that has lost over 50 pilots in my tenure of 20 years. Each time one goes, especially the good ones, we end up taking two steps backwards.
The pay is above average. No pressure to fly. Many pilots make 125-150 year.
What keeps people? Pay or lifestyle?
I debated on going back to Corp, but feel obligated to stay to keep some sort of stability. Not for me, but for the people in the back that are very good friends.
