Had a RN once who stepped over a tied down blade to get into an aircraft and didn't tell the pilot when he tried to start the aircraft. I know, that pilot should have done a better walk around, but still..... WHen I did the Root Cause analysis I asked the RN why she didn't say anything? Her reply was. "it's not my job to keep the pilot out of trouble."
