So, no EMS experience? 16 years flying HEMS in an ASTAR here.  

In my experience, girth and height are bigger issues than weight, even in Squirrels. I could reduce weight much easier than I could expand the cabin, aside from removing seats.

The Atlanta Falcons training camp was 3 minutes from my base, and we did a PR to show them how to help load a team mate. There weren't a half-dozen players we could have stuffed into the aircraft on the stretcher.
