Military PTSD Disability and flying in the GOM

Former military aviators, with disabilities that preclude them from performing as an active duty aviator, have been drawing disabilities and flying since the Korean war. Just because an aviator cannot pass a mulitary flight physical doesn't prevent the same aviator from qualifying for a FAA medical certificate, in many cases.
