Yup, a downturn doesn't affect the wealthy who fly all the time. Airline world may dip a little but the demand is there to sustain the growth for the next 10 years.
Worked at Rucker and there was a guy there for over 5 years due to an early 2000's furlough and he was offered a spot back during the next boom.
Was later at Rucker when the dumb new Airbus trainer was there and saw multiple guys from the airlines there during Covid. They're all back at the airlines and making bank.
Barring a 2nd great depression or WW3, the helicopter world will always take you back during a furlough.
