Its in Meriden, CT. The owner wants it gone. Scrap aluminum is $0.43 per pound. Empty weight, with engine, xmsn, is upwards of 9000 lbs. That's $3.5k to $4k, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. |

There seems to be enough that the right group could make a museum piece. There have been some WW2 projects that started with less. Whether cost is prohibitive will play it self out. I hope it is not scrapped. |
