PHI did give mechanics a raise last year of 3% more, check out the prior years after Chap 11, it was less than 11% every year, Now they dont want us working any over time, and they keep hiring guys with the 15K sign on that now theyre making more than 7 year guys.
I work there "troll" and you dont know anything about anything,
We need the union now more thanever after the posting of those salaries of people keeping our salaried in the dumps |

if you got to the money stage, you were hired. you should have asked them if that was negotiable. walking out was a stupid thing to do after going all the way to shreveport and then going through the whole process but I also doubt it even happened. |

Metro always lowballs during interview. Tell them how much you want and be willing to walk, tell them they have 24hrs to get back to you. If you stick to your guns you are likely to get what you ask for. |

Agree, this company low balls, waiting to see if you will take it because so many do take the first offer. Ask for at least 20% over their offer then negotiate. They, like everyone else, are looking for pilots. Unless you are over 55 in which case certain people will be asking why are we hiring this old person? If you find yourself in this situation be prepared to be denied for any reason except your age |
