The "cirque de foret" wants modern Type 2's, 145,412,139?. They will find out that an AStar would lift more at 7000 and 30C and a 205++ will be much better. But Uncle sam knows best, so Operators will have to change over to those Airframes to keep the FS happy. Eventually they (FS) will want their own S70's by claiming that there is nothing Comercially available that suits their "needs". Of course it will cost taxpayers even more than the current setup with "greedy" operators.... |

YUP - there will be plenty of those. Maintenance nightmare of a helicopter. T/R P/C links go out of tolerance all the time and Airbus won't let you keep stock (if it's big contract mx)... have to have it shipped from France. Could have applied the good things from the EC135 when they made that thing and they didn't. Good job Airbus |
