Take off with passengers today.....

He was supposed to do a 10min MX flight

Land

And then the Mech was gonna look for leaks

Like it said in the LOGBOOK, under the open entry, 10 min mx flight required for leak check.

Naw, peter pilot loads pax and heads offshore.....we had to call him back when we realize he'd been gone too long.

This is why I sometimes wonder about how many brain cells you Fk tards have when it comes to AP writeups.

So far I'm not impressed with this new batch of stick wigglers.  Seems they get dumber every year.

you never had a garlock seal fail after initial ground leak check. Some operators found it took flight torques to check the seal didnt leak so 10 minute flight and RTB to verify. Its one of those 1 in a million instances but know of 3 incidents where that simple check would have prevented a smoked engine.

I didn't know. What's helisas? Must not be a 500 thing.

Did you know that activating the ICS  while bonded onto a live 500,000 volt system will damage the audio ICS? Tell me everyone knows this ? Right?

15 years of live line experience. I've never burned out an ICS from hot work, all the way to 765KV. Most common problem from energized work is the phenolic's in the head getting eaten away from the arcing.
