Lets start a list to help all pilots get better deals by getting some info about pay, bennies, schedules, medical.

AMC- 86K-98K starting, 1-10K experience stipends, IFR 3K ??, fill in the rest.

Med Trans from website 86-96 no geo mod, 10-30% geo mods, 5K IFR, 15K sign on, 40K 3yr retention.

PHI- don't know

Metro- don't know

Any other small companies out there, S76 in Michigan, AK Kids S76?, TraumaHawk? Miami Dade?

you are correct on the others...I have seen more get hired at MTC at the $95k range starting...

PHI-  starting pay $72-76k a year...and Geo is very very limited...3% 401k (with another 3% if they meet yearly goal).  Raises are questionable year to year..None last year and 1% this year...aging aircraft and nothing new in about 10yrs...Managers and morale in the toliet...

AMC-starting is $76k with sign on bonus...6% 401k match. They are still working on their Pilot

Metro - Not 100% sure of the starting pay, but somewhere between $75k - $95k based on experience. $5k IFR, 7% 401k match, free health benefits.

Splitting hairs and negotiating over crumbs...

The pay is roughly the same in most situations if you factor QOL. Want to make way more money? Go to an undesireable base and work overtime and potentially much lower QOL.

All companies are equally frustrating in different ways, so it depends on what flavor of hot sauce you want on your crap sandwich.

The best pay, bennies, schedules, and medical are not offered to pilots. Get a management degree and position yourself to make big decisions outside the cockpit.
