my employer definitely does not want me to leave when they already have 100 plus open spots. hiring (even hiring somebody back) is expensive. onboarding and training takes 4-6 weeks before you are on the line plus all the open shifts that go unfilled. they would much rather keep you. most that quit don't come back anyway so it it's a stupid thing to say. you have zero idea what you are talking about bro.
