Sustainable. They are neither. The solar panels look pretty and clean when delivered. But they are ultra toxic dusing manufacturing and disposal. Efficient? That's a big no as well. Peak efficiency new is less than 30% in the brightest sunlight, when the panels are brand new. Then they degrade to last maybe 10-15 years before requiring replacement. It's a tossup if they will get any ROI. |
