Yup, that's why people take EMS jobs... the GREAT overtime.

Depending on your region it can be easy money if you have bases within a 1-3hr drive. Otherwise it's not worth the days off it takes to cover a shift.
You're just wasting your life away if you do EMS with the plan to do lots of overtime (or for the float pilot jobs). May as well get a job in a different industry that requires travel and overall pays way better.
